Evidence & Medical Standards

How ScolioPath decides what it will and won't say.

No automatic clinical interpretation

ScolioPath never generates a clinical judgment like "your scoliosis improved." It records what you enter — a Cobb angle, a note, a wear-time log — without deciding what that change means.

Standard terms, not invented ones

Terms like Cobb angle, Risser sign, Sanders stage and ATR are used the way they're used in mainstream scoliosis care — see the Glossary for definitions.

Assessment isn't replaced by self-checking

Screening content (like visible signs to look for) is framed as a reason to seek an assessment, never as a substitute for one.

No AI-generated diagnosis or treatment

Nothing on ScolioPath uses AI to diagnose, stage, or prescribe treatment. Where AI assists (for example, summarizing your own notes), it stays source-grounded to what you or your professional entered.

ScolioPath is an independent educational and organizational tool. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your own doctor or physiotherapist.
